Women’s Teams Ready for J/70 Helga Cup Regatta in Hamburg

(Hamburg, Germany)- For nine years, the Helga Cup in Hamburg, Germany, has shown how it’s done: the world’s largest women’s sailing regatta- almost 80 crews from 11 nations, from Olympic winners to outright beginners. The co-host clubs- Norddeutscher Regatta-Verein (NRV) & Hamburger Segel-Club (HSC)- roll-out the proverbial red carpet for women’s teams from all over the world.

The regatta is sailed in a fleet of J/70 one-design sailboats on Hamburg’s beautiful Alster Lake for four unforgettable days of sailing, competition, and celebration. The event will take place from June 11th to 14th, 2026 for the 350+ women sailors.

Just Arrive & Sail!
All J/70 one-design sailboats are provided, all boats are tuned exactly alike! The teams can expect exciting short races (10-12 minutes) on the water and unforgettable evenings in Hamburg.

Thursday, 11 June – Team Check-in, Training, Pre-Opening Party at Hamburger Segel-Club
Friday, 12 June – Regatta Start 11:00 AM, Official Opening Party 8:00 PM
Saturday, 13 June – Regatta Start 10:00 AM, Evening Program & Party
Sunday, 14 June – Regatta Start 9:30 AM, Final Races, Award Ceremony
