Thirty-Seven Teams Set for J/70 Mixed-Plus World Championship in Copenhagen

(Copenhagen, Denmark)- The Royal Danish Yacht Club (KDY) is ready to host a fleet of thirty-seven teams from thirteen nations (Denmark, Sweden, Spain, Netherlands, Switzerland, Great Britain, Hungary, Norway, Turkey, United States, Japan, Germany, and Finland) for the 2026 edition of the J/70 Mixed-Plus World Championship. Sailing will take place on the Baltic Sea north of Copenhagen.

Notable teams that may be at the top of the leaderboard include Jim Murray’s CALLISTO team from the USA, Peter Buhl’s Danish team on SIRENA CHICO, Simon Perry’s British crew on JIRAFFE, Nevra Eker’s Turkish team on EKER EFSANE YOGURT, Michael Looser’s Swiss crew on JACQUELINE, and Sara Jackson’s Danish team on JOY.
