Club Nautique de Versoix Wins Swiss J/70 Women’s League Finale
(Davos, Switzerland)- The Davos Sailing Club hosted the 2026 Swiss J/70 Women’s Finale on the gorgeous mountain waters of Lake Davos. Nine women’s teams enjoyed amazing racing in the shifty breezes, managing to endure sixteen races over three days! Several new teams topped the leaderboard, challenging the “old guard.” Here is how it went down for the top five.
- 1st- Emily Cook’s Club Nautique de Versoix team won 11 of 16 races for a total of 25 pts. Almost the entire family crew was there, including Louise Cook, Rebecca Cook, and Lucie Philipp.
- 2nd- Stephanie Rosse’s Yacht Club Luzern team (Rita Krummenacher, Bianca Schmidt, Sabine Brodbeck, and Doris Ammann) won 9 of their 16 races for a total of 31 pts, enough to take the silver medal.
- 3rd- Salvina Fries skippered the famous Regatta Club Oberhofen team of Yvonne Marie-Jeanne Bemelmans, Karin Fankhauser, and Lucie Bieri. They managed to win two races and counted all podium finishes in their scoreline, the only team to do so for the regatta! They finished with 37 pts to garner the bronze medal.
- 4th- Claudia Streuli’s Yacht Club Zug team of Katrin Anthes, Katja Hurlimann, and Anna Herzig took 4th place with 40 pts.
- 5th- Marina Osterwalder’s Segel Club Zurich team of Sandra Meier, Andra Kuster, and Jennifer Voser took 5th place with 49 pts.
